Anne Hall Nutritionist
On Tuesday January 9th Anne Hall came in to speak to us. She told us about some basic things that we should already know. she told us about the importance of a varied diet, a good breakfast, regular and small meals and our 5 a day. ( although she also introduced us to the schematics of the new food pyramid, published by the world health organisation).
She spoke to us about some foods that are essential in our teenage diets. She told us what foods to eat before and after workouts and how we should portion control. By decreasing the size of your plate you automatically decrease the size of your portions.
We always hear of 'superfoods' but I never actually knew what it ment. Each superfood has its own benefit which helps our body to preform to the best of our ability.
Overall I did really enjoy the workshop I learned a few new facts. I would have liked it to be a bit longer.
